Educational Video Series Design for the Library of Congress

May 1, 2026

LightMix is proud to announce a new engagement with the Library of Congress and the Congressional Research Service (CRS) for the design and production of comprehensive educational video series.

The initiative focuses on translating complex policy and research topics into clear, structured visual content. Developed to support the work of Congress and congressional staff, the series presents dense material in a format that is accessible, consistent, and easy to navigate.

The engagement includes the development and production of over twenty videos covering wide range of policy and research topics.

LightMix works directly with subject matter expert groups at CRS, who provide input and guidance throughout the process to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across the series. LightMix is responsible for the full creative direction and production of the series, including motion design, animation, and visual storytelling. Each video is designed to simplify complex material while maintaining accuracy—emphasizing clarity in how information is organized, how it flows, and how visuals support understanding without adding unnecessary complexity.

The series is built around a flexible visual system that adapts across a wide range of topics while remaining consistent with established branding. This approach ensures continuity across the full body of work while allowing each subject to be presented in the most effective way.
